Understanding the Waterfall Method: A Step-by-Step Project Approach

The Waterfall Methodology is a step-by-step way to manage big projects. Imagine it like a staircase—you take one step at a time, no going back.

First, you plan everything. You jot down what needs doing, how long it'll take, and who's doing what. Then, you move to the next step: designing. Here, you draw what your project will look like when it's done.

Once that's set, it's time to build. This is where the actual work happens. No changes from the original plan allowed! After building, you test—make sure everything works as planned.

Finally, it's time to deliver your project. You hand it over to the people who will use it. But wait, it's not over yet! You've got to maintain it—fix any problems and keep it running smoothly.

The Waterfall Methodology is pretty straightforward. You finish one step before moving to the next. It's good for projects with clear goals and when you know exactly what you want at the start. But if things change often, it might not be the best fit.
